LOGS to LEGACY

Hi! I’m Matt Dugal.  I began working with wood in highschool, and haven’t looked back. I love wood, the whole process from harvesting to milling and crafting. Twenty plus years as a cabinet maker, I’ve worked every aspect of the process making historic restoration kitchen cabinetry and then some.  On the side I’ve been able to work at improving my wood turning skills.  I’m excited to offer the portable Woodmizer sawmill service!  I look forward to helping folks along in building their dreams, be it a small shed, a garage, or maybe an heirloom piece of furniture crafted from an old oak or maple from your own property.  I’m here to help get your logs to lumber, and on into legacy.  

This is a family business.  First and foremost, we are striving to instill in our children a solid work ethic, and a sense of responsibility.  We seek to do this by providing you with the best quality service possible.  We are a God fearing family who seeks to honor Him in all we do, including how we conduct our business and raise our family. With the understanding that our children will be growing up and stepping into the world, we consider Psalm 127:4 “Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth.” We want to sharpen our children, help them set their sights on what is right, and release them with the confidence that God will carry them through for His purpose.
